You have the option to select whether you would like your print inset within a hardboard mount. This enhances the presentation of the print. All of our mounts are made from 1400 Micron board. The aperture is set xxmm from the outside edge of the print. We will adapt the scale of the image to fit within the mount aperture so as not to have any of the print image obscured behind the mount.

The orientation determines how your image is positioned on the paper. There is nothing clever about this and normally portrait images suit portrait orientation, likewise for landscape, but we like to offer flexibility as this is not always the case. The preview of your image should give a clear indication.
Select whether you want your image to cover the selected paper size or whether you want it reduced proportionally in size so that no part of the image is cropped. Note that cropped images are always centred so you will lose equal amounts from the left/right or top/bottom depending on the orientation of your image.
If you would like white space around your image then select a small, medium or large border. The size of the border is calculated as a percentage of the print size.
Border | Size |
Small | 5% |
Medium | 10% |
Large | 20% |
